Risk Multiplier

A number that used to adjust how much is invested by confidence. Today it is fixed at 1: the portfolio is invested unless the VIX Shield acts.

Explanation

Exposure scaler that combined confidence and regime. Disabled: in validation, trimming by regime reduced return and worsened drawdown, so it equals 1.00 and only the VIX Shield (high and rising VIX) reduces exposure.

Technical detail

Exposure = base weights × multiplier. The ceiling comes from the cash reserve (min(calculated, 1 − cash)), which is why the band above 1.0 is unreachable by design.
