Who we are and what this policy covers
LearnAImarkets (learnaimarkets.com) is a free educational website about investing and artificial intelligence. This policy explains what data we process when you visit the site, when you create an optional account and when you receive the newsletter.
Data we process
Without an account: we store nothing that identifies you. We count visits in aggregate with Umami, without cookies. If you accept analytics, we record our own usage events (page, referring site, campaign parameters and a random session identifier). Hosting and error logging may process technical data such as your IP address or browser. With an account: email, password (handled by Supabase Auth; we never see it in plain text), email language, newsletter preferences with the date of your consent, cookie preferences and the symbolic capital you choose for simulations. If you receive the newsletter, we keep a record of sends and deliveries. We never ask for broker credentials, positions, real trades or payment details.
Why we use it and legal basis
Keeping your account and settings (performance of the service you request). Sending you the weekly or monthly newsletter (consent, which you can withdraw at any time). Measuring how the site is used to improve it (consent for our own analytics; legitimate interest for the cookieless visit count). Detecting errors, preventing abuse and protecting the service (legitimate interest). We do not build advertising profiles or make automated decisions that affect you. The texts written by the AI model are based on market data: we do not send your personal data to AI services.
Providers
Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Sentry (error logging) and Umami (cookieless analytics). They act as processors and only use the data to provide their service to us. Some may process data outside the European Economic Area; when they do, it is under the safeguards set out in the GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Cookies and storage in your browser
We use no advertising cookies and no third-party cookies to track you. The site keeps what it needs to work in your browser's local storage: your session if you sign in, your preferred language, your cookie choice, academy progress and simulator settings. Only if you accept analytics is a random session identifier stored as well. You can change your choice from the cookie notice or, with an account, in Settings.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept for as long as the account exists. If you ask us to delete it, we remove the account, the profile and your preferences. Technical records (email sends, errors and usage events) may be kept for as long as needed for security reasons or legal obligations.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, and withdraw your consent: for the newsletter, with the unsubscribe link in every email or in Settings; for analytics, from the cookie preferences. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD, aepd.es). For any request, write to us at: support@learnaimarkets.com.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect legal or technical changes. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its update date. If a change significantly affects how we handle your data, we will communicate it clearly.
